Covid Safe

Operating from 19th July 2021 - please read all as it's important for all of us!

Dear Customers, Friends and Villagers,

The calming news we have all been waiting for! ‘A New Normal’ will begin to unfold from Monday 19th July 2021………the time has flown by and so much has changed both inside and outside The Stag. Unlike many pubs, we have managed to come through this difficult year and against all odds we continue trading. We feel lucky to be one of the minority that have survived this difficult trading time and we hope we can count on your continued support.

Our customers have said the staff have conquered & adapted well to the new challenges and ever changing rules that have been thrown at us each month. Like all of us I will be so happy to see both my loyal team and customers enjoying a far more relaxed hospitality setting and atmosphere.

As we draw close to this landmark date, rest assured my staff and customers safety is still an upmost priority and I personally do not think this is over yet…..Covid disruption will be here for a while to come.

Life will be as normal as we can possibly make it. No more face masks for you, unless you wish to. My staff will wear them if they wish and I have encouraged this based on the delta variant strain and unknown others.

Track and trace will cease and is no longer a legal requirement, however, if you wish to check in still – feel free to.

Table service will remain inside but will cease from the garden tables. There will be NO seating at the bar still for the foreseeable future.

The business will continue to keep certain measures in place to do our part to help control the spread of the virus for some time I suspect. We will continue with extra cleaning regimes for all areas, also with hand sanitising points duly available throughout the pub and accommodation facility.

We do ask that if you have tested positive or someone you have been in close contact with has tested positive for Coronavirus, you delay your visit to the pub and contact us to rearrange your visit whether you are dining or using our accommodation.

At this time everyone will be moving at different paces as we ease out of lockdown and we want to keep things moving forward. So as we do this we would appreciate it so much if you could help us by being as considerate as possible to other people and my staff over the coming months.

Be Kind, Be patient, Be thankful for what we do – many have lost their loved ones during this unique time in our lives and may well be anxious.

See you soon and Thank You.

Rob
